Deportations and Forced Migrations: The View from Honduras

Come to Newcomb Balroom to hear Neesa Medina give a poweful presentation on current events in Honduras. Medina is a part of Witness for Peace Southeast, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of issues in Latin America and encouraging community engagement. She is an activist and feminist sociologist who will be speaking on the feminist perspective of the political climate of Honduras, as well as the impact of US policy on the country. Food will be served!

TBLA invites you to Fig Bistro & Bar to eat and drink to raise money for Mexico. Cheap drinks and good food. Is there anything better?
There is one catch, though. Make sure to tell your waiter or waitress that you are there for TBLA. That way, the money you spend will go towards the fundraiser. Hope to see you there.
